the place to be if you’re a kid!...

An exciting experience in a safe, supervised* environment.

Older children will love the ‘wicked’ 3D maze, climbing frames, trampoline, swings, slides, aerial runway and wooden fortress, while little ones play safely in their own Small Peoples’ Playground.

50th anniversary logo
This year there's even more fun as we're celebrating 50yrs of opening to the public!

During weekends in August there will be additional exciting, free, play equipment including the Spider Climb, Climbing Wall, Cascade Slide and a Wild West Adventure inflatable.

Exciting Play equipment for 2008

A variety of light refreshments, gifts and toys are available at Lakeside Café and Bodger’s Cabin which are situated next to the adventure play area.

You may also enjoy the tranquility of the lakeside picnic area, stroll through the gardens or experience the beautiful countryside on the Woodland Walk situated in the picturesque 400 acre park.

* Although our play areas are supervised adults are ultimately responsible for their children on site. We also reserve the right for our playground supervisors to remove unruly children or adults from the playground.

the woodland walk

Lovely green woodland

The Woodland Walk is part of the picturesque 400 acre park and is an ideal place for children to explore and let off steam.

The route takes you through grassland, established woodland and young plantations; home to an abundance of wildlife while providing wonderful views of the House
and the surrounding parkland.

Due to carefully managed woodland this valuable habitat remains a haven for indigenous flora and fauna.
