There is a programme of coppicing, thinning, clearing and natural regeneration in progress to ensure that the Ragley woodland remains a sustainable and natural habitat for our lifetime and beyond.

This habitat provides a haven for many indigenous species, as well as the commercial production of timber.

All wood sourced from the woodland is utilised by the sawmill, which is located in the village of Arrow (just off the A46, Alcester), where we produce a wide range of timber products. We can also cut timber to special order – please enquire (tel 01789 762 941).

All woods and the sawmill are FSC approved and managed with the aim of creating a diverse broadleaved woodland which continues to produce timber for many future generations.

"FSC accredited certification means that the forest of origin of any timber or timber product which carries this logo has been independently inspected and evaluated according to strict environmental, social and economic principles and criteria as agreed by the Forest Stewardship Council A.C" – www.fsc-uk.info.

Ragley Sawmill is located in the village of Arrow just outside of Alcester. The Sawmill has wide range of treated and untreated products produced from Ragley timber. These include:-

We also stock metal gates, posts and wire.

Ragley also produces charcoal on the Estate which may be purchased from the Sawmill.
